Captain (N) (retd) Tony Goode served in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) for over 30 years during which he commanded several ships, Training Group Pacific and Royal Roads Military College as well as serving with NATO and as the Naval and Assistant Defence Attaché to the United States. Upon his retirement from the RCN, he joined a large multinational aerospace and defence corporation where he was responsible for business development in Canada.
In 2006, Tony joined CFN Consultants (Atlantic) Inc. providing advice to clients in the aerospace, marine industries and shipbuilding, ocean technology and defence sectors on business development, business strategy and security related matters. Over the past 15 years Tony has worked on several reports concerning Atlantic Canada’s Aerospace, Defence, Ocean Technology and shipbuilding sectors for clients including the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association, Nova Scotia Business Inc., the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Province of Nova Scotia among others.
Tony is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia International Air Show and is a member of DEFSEC Atlantic’s Steering Group.
Tony Goode is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, the Canadian Forces Command and Staff College and the National Defence College of Canada.
